We back our work for as long as you own your home. If peeling, blistering or flaking comes from our prep or application, we repair it at no cost to you.
Our workmanship: for as long as you own the home
We cover defects in our workmanship on the surfaces we painted: peeling, blistering or flaking caused by our prep or our application. Interior and exterior jobs are covered the same way. The warranty does not transfer to the next owner.

“Excessive” means fading or chalking that is clearly uneven or worse than the rest of the painted surface, confirmed on our inspection visit, or mildew that comes back within 30 days of a gentle wash. If it is covered, we repaint the affected area. After a package’s years run out, peeling caused by our prep or application is still covered under our workmanship warranty.
Cabinets: covered by our workmanship warranty. The cabinet coating carries its maker’s own warranty.
The details
What a covered repair costs you
Nothing. Labor and materials are free, on the affected area only.
When it starts
Before we finish, we walk the job with you and schedule any touch-ups. The warranty starts after a signed contract, that approved final walkthrough and payment in full.
What it does not cover
- Damage from outside causes, such as leaks, moisture, structural problems or impact
- Normal wear, including sun fading, chalking and mildew after the time limits above
- Work done by others
- Epoxy floors. They have a separate 1-year workmanship warranty.
When coverage ends on a surface
- Someone else repaints it, or
- Someone other than us pressure washes it at high pressure without our OK.
Care tip
Gentle washing (a garden hose or a soft wash) is fine and helps keep mildew away. Ask us before any high-pressure washing.
